Suzie and Matt are getting married this September at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers, and last week we got to spend some time with them shooting their engagement session. One of our favorite dancing pictures from last season was a close-up of this couple at Chuck and Michelle's wedding. Their love for each other was just so palpable and obvious in the photograph. We we're thrilled when we found out that that couple was Suzie and Matt and they were booking us for their wedding.
Given their interest in architecture, we went straight over to Renzo Piano's brand new Modern Wing at the Art Institute, and we shot all around Millenium park. We also got to hear their very funny first date story (it involves L track juice, and if you don't know what that is, thats ok (: )
Here are a few of our favorites from their session.
Man - I sure wish I was friends with this good looking couple! Oh wait....I am! Looking good Susie and Matt! Can't wait for the wedding!
Great job Nancy and Dave!

Several from this shoot that are great but I particularly like the escalator image - great lines, composition and uniqueness!

You captured the light so beautifully in the fifth picture. Just gorgeous.
