Mark + Ligia | E-Session | snow storm in Chicago

Mark and Ligia are getting married in May; they had dreamed of being photographed in the snow for their engagement session.  We waited, and when a big snow storm hit, we went out to shoot. The lakefront looked so different covered in snow, and all three of us had fun being the first to make footprints in fresh snow! I loved shooting in such a different environment, and capturing a unique time not only in Mark and Ligia's lives, but also that quiet moment when everything stands still because of the snow.  Here are a few of my favorite images from that day:

aghh so jealous! i've been wanting to do an e-session in the midst of a snow storm for so long, but i can never seem to schedule it right! beauuutiful job!!! ps the 4th one down is my absolute fave, sooo artistic and stunningly gorgeous.
