Before we post the slideshow from Thalia and Alex's outdoor Maine wedding this afternoon, we wanted to share a few images from their rehearsal dinner. It was held in the same backyard as the wedding, with only the closest of Thalia and Alex's family and friends. Lobsters and corn were boiled; local brew was sitting out on the porch, and home made blueberry pie (made with those delicious tiny Maine blueberries) finished off the evening.

Thanks to Doug McGoldrick for capturing the evening Amanda and Ranger had with close friends and family the night before their wedding. It sounded like they had a really fun group, a fantastic band that kept everyone dancing and excellent food!

Venue: Boka
Given Stefanie and Sam's refined taste its no surprise that they choose Boka as the venue for their Rehearsal Dinner. Boka's chef, Giuseppe Tentori, was recently named one of America's top 10 new chefs, and his reputation is well deserved - the food was amazing. It was great seeing so many people we knew all ready, since we'd just shot Sam's sister's wedding in May (see their images here) and Stafanie's sister's wedding last year. A special thanks to Mrs. Wessner for getting us our own booth at Boka. Here are a few images from that night; we can't wait to show you our pictures from their wedding at A New Leaf.

The bold colors of this hip Latin fusion restaurant were an ideal setting for Luke and Isabelle's rehearsal dinner while providing a great contrast to their wedding venue - the gothic University Club. Many of her relatives flew in from Peru for the occasion and it was fun getting to hear their friends' insights on who they were. Here are some of our favorite shots.
Dave and I were up in Minnesota near Minneapolis shooting Joseph and Nora's wedding this Memorial Day weekend. We also shot their rehearsal dinner on Friday; we love doing these because it is a great opportunity for us to get to know everyone in the wedding a little better.
