Rebecca and Hubert's wedding at the Drake in Chicago was full of red, gold and burberry. The men's bowties, and even the bows on the wreaths that adorned the Drake's windows were burberry. The gold chiavari chairs were accented with red sashes, and bunches of roses along with gold candelabras decorated the tables. With the holidays a central theme of the wedding, the atmosphere was warm, cozy, and elegant at the same time. Indigo made sure to keep the party going, and Kristina Taheri kept everything running smoothly. Here are just a few of our favorite images from this Chicago winter wedding.

Courtney and Chris's wedding ceremony took place at the beautiful St. James Chapel. The traditional Catholic mass was filled with incredible music by the musicians they brought in; strings, organ music, and beautiful vocals filled the chapel. Afterwards, they hosted their reception in the Gold Coast Room at the Drake. When I walked in to the room to do detail shots, I literally held my breath. The room was truly transformed into something magical. The centerpieces full of white flowers and cut glass accented the colors in the room just perfectly.
As the night went on, the Don Cagen Orchestra kept everyone entertained with violinists out on the dance floor during dinner, and fabulous dancing music later in the evening. We had a wonderful time documenting this evening, and were so honored to have been there. Here are a few of our favorite images from that evening. Dena and Gavin planned an intimate wedding for friends and family who came from all over the country to celebrate. I loved the Tuscan feel of the flowers Dena chose, and her fur wrap that so elegantly adorned her shoulders was a very nice touch. They were blessed with beautiful weather, and the calmest water I have ever seen at North Avenue Beach! Here are a few of our favorites form the day.
Amanda and Ranger were one of the first couples to get married at Holy Name Cathedral since it's renovation (or rather, restoration). The 130 year old Cathedral looked like a new church; it was absolutely stunning after all that it's been through for the last few months. The ceremony was beautiful as was the reception which had some of the most intricate and ornate floral arrangements we have seen this year. Kehoe was able to realize Amanda's vision in their design. We get to work with them frequently, and I think this is some of the finest work we've seen them do.
Dave and I were truly honored to be a part of this day, and we both very much enjoyed capturing the joy that was so evident among friends and family for this beautiful couple. Congratulations Amanda and Ranger!!
